The need for faux tans in film and television is what started the spray tanning craze. Soon spray tans became popular at tanning salons everywhere. Spray tans, which are made up of ingredients like DHA that react with your skin to create a darkening effect, continue to be popular because of the risks associated with traditional tanning methods.
